You can assist us in making a decision for 2011

As an airshow organizer there is nothing worst than having so many great aircraft available and only a limited budget to pull from.  Hey I want to see them fly as much as you do.  So to help us out we have started a Poll which will wrap up Nov 25th to see what the viewers choice would be.  If we get enough results out of the Poll this will go into the decision making process for the 2011 lineup of aircraft and then it's up to you to come out July 16th & 17th 2011.

Some more Photos from Battle of Britain 2010

Received some more photos from our photographers today from the July 2010 show that look absolutely fantastic.  I will post some more in the next couple days after I browse through the 1000 or so images, but these ones just stood out.  Also will have some update photos from the workshop of Fighterwerks on the MK V Spitfire Replica as it progresses for a tentative rollout at the July 2011 "Seige of Malta" Air Show.

2011 Air Show Approved by Airport Commission

We wish to thank the Huronia Airport Commission which has approved the use for 2011 of the airport facility, so the air show will be returning to Midland for a second year.  The dates are July 16th & 17th, 2011 so mark your calendars and get ready for another great line up of WWII warbirds you will only see at the Battle of Britain Air Show.

This years show theme is the "Siege of Malta 1941", we will take you back to a place in time where a small but valiant group of Canadian, British and Commonwealth airmen defended the small island post of Malta in the Mediterranean.  Stay tuned as we will be posting aircraft as they are booked as well as stories on some of the local veterans who took part in the defence of Malta.

If you missed our 2010 Air Show also watch as we will post pictures from this event.
